I’m hearing so much about the state of our community these days that it prompted me to compile a list, so that I may, in my more fragile moments, remember some positive aspects. As a newcomer, please remember I’m seeing things here for the first time. Others might remember how it was, and the glory days, but my new eyes have discovered the following, and I lovingly refer to it as, in no particular order, and it’s constantly being updated:

• The Terrace’s Almost-All-You-Can-Eat-Breakfast Buffet
• Upstairs at Levasseur’s (and Shelley)
• Magic City Mini-Golf (they’re open)

• P&H Auto (they pump my gas, and are good business neighbors)

• Class size (even with consolidation)
• Millinocket Floral (get the mixed bouquet from Rhonda)
