MILLINOCKET
RAYMOND PHILIP ARSENAULT

Raymond Philip Arsenault, 62, died June 5, 2003. He was born in Millinocket on June 7, 1940, the son of the late Addis and Rita (Deschaine) Arsenault.

Raymond graduated from Stearns High School in 1960, and went on the join the U.S. Air Force, where he served two tours in Vietnam. He returned home to join the Millinocket National Guard, completing 17 years of service.

Raymond then moved to Lewiston, where he lived for 30 years and was an avid volunteer for the Eastern Agency on Aging. Special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Perry for all of their help and support while he was residing in Lewiston.

Raymond is survived by two daughters, Debbie L. Arsenault-York and her husband, Chris, and their three children, Derek, Christopher, and Josh, of Orrington; April A. James, her husband, Peter, and their three children, PJ, Amanda, and Rachel, of Cicero, New York; two sisters, Patsy Perry and Charlene Caron; and a brother, Robert Arsenault, all of Millinocket; and brother, Paul and his special friend, Joanna, of Bangor. Raymond was predeceased by his parents, an infant daughter, Rebecca; and two sisters, Linda Richardson and Elizabeth Arsenault.

In lieu of a funeral, Raymond wished to have a simple graveside memorial, which will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, at the Millinocket Cemetery.

Friends and family may contribute to the Katahdin Area Support Group in his memory, if they wish.
