MEDWAY WADE ARTHUR BOYNTON
Wade Arthur Boynton, 67, died May 24 2003, in Millinocket. He was born on August 2, 1935 in East Millinocket, the son of Keith W. and Ruth (Corbett) Boynton.
Wade graduated from Schenck High School in 1954. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving four years as a gunners mate. He was a life member of the USS Forestal Reunion Organization.
He retired from Great Northern Paper Company in 1994 and was a life member of the United Paper Makers Local No. 152. He was also a member of the Calvary Temple Assembly of God in East Millinocket.
He was loyal and trustworthy by nature. He loved hunting and fishing, and was an avid movie fan. After retirement, he and wis wife, Joan, toured the United States on a motorcycle from the East coast to the West coast. He grew to love travel, spending winters in Florida and returning home to his family in the spring.
He loved his family dearly, and is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joan (Nicholson) Boynton; two daughters, Kim Pasanen and her husband, Peter, Ruth Darling and her husband, Kenneth; four grandchildren, Taimi and Nicholas Pasanen, Adam and Daniel Deveau; two brothers, Keith Boynton, Jr. and wife, Joan, Ronald and his wife, Irene Boynton, all of East Millinocket; one sister, Bonnie Douglas of Millinocket; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. at Calvary Temple Assembly of God in East Millinocket, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Regginal Adams officiating.
