We can't allow the corruption in our community or region to expand so grossly that active citizens, signers of petitions, and former news correspondents can have false charges placed against them and convictions to occur without evidence.
Something has to be wrong with our local police department. We can't allow our entire criminal justice system to stoop so low that they are willing to break their own laws, and rules to cover up the truth of what's really going on here. This nothing less than the presence of real tyranny, and I'm looking forward to seeing who will stand in the gap, step forward, and not shy away from this.
Our police department should be professional enough to be above this sort of scandal, certainly our police chief should know about the rules of evidence, but before all this is done much will be exposed, and more than one person will be losing a job. Count on it.
"To declare that in the administration of criminal law the end justifies the means to declare that the Government may commit crimes in order to secure conviction of a private criminal would bring terrible retribution."
Louis Brandeis, Former US Supreme Court Justice
I don't have the personal constitution to admit that I did something that I didn't. Nor do I have the constitution to not let everyone know that there is huge evidence that not only did I not get a fair trial, but that it was a complete and utter travesty of justice; all from a system that is intended and expected to protect our rights. All this to protect the real culprit in the police department?
