T.E.A. Party Report

T.E.A. - Taxed Enough Already, as in American colonial citizens protesting at Boston harbor in the year 1773 by dumping British tea into the ocean.

American citizens are starting to realize the enormous mistake they made when they elected a Socialist Democrat President and a Socialist Democrat Congress, not that the wimpy Republican reach-across-the-aisle candidate was much better. Evil on one side, enablement of evil on the other side. President Barrack Hussein Obama-II is working overtime to turn Chicago Democrat Party Political Machine politics into a national franchise.

TEA Parties are springing up all over America in response to the Democrats' and Obama's hog-wild spending spree. Check this out at http://www.teapartyday.com There is a national TEA Party rally planned for September 12 at Washington D.C.

Piled on top of Obama's irresponsible government spending is a Socialist smorgasbord of freedom-destroying bills in Congress. The bills have the common purpose of busybody control of everything and everyone through government-imposed restrictions on use of energy, manufacturing, farming, housing, food production, land ownership, land use, firearms ownership, government control of air and water, United Nations international agreements, rampant environmentalism, reduction of parental authority, restricting freedom of religion, restricting freedom of speech, Socialized health care, wealth redistribution, Open Borders unlimited immigration, pedophile protection, and much more.

Most of these bills are un-Constitutional, in violation of the 9th and 10th Amendments as a minimum. Elected officials who create and vote for these bills are in automatic violation of their Oath Of Office and no longer can legally serve in Congress. If they stay they are trespassers and are impersonating legitimate elected officials.

Members of Congress voted for the $500,000,000,000 (billions) tax bill without reading, or even being allowed to read, the entire bill. The name for that is Legislative Malpractice.

The 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution limits a person to a maximum of two terms as President of these United States. A bill now before Congress would repeal the 22nd Amendment. If the bill becomes law, President Obama can become President For Life Obama.

That is the wrong approach. What we need is an Amendment to the 22nd Amendment that imposes Term Limits on elected officials in Congress. No more than one, 6-years term allowed for a Senator, no more than three, 2-years-each terms allowed for a Representative.

If you can't accomplish your mission in six years you are never going to get the job done. But you also won't have as much opportunity to become an entrenched Congressional fossil beholden to weird and moneyed Special Interest groups in defiance of good Constitutional government and the folks back home who elected you to represent them.

With Term Limits removing the need to pander to extremist organizations for re-election money, maybe our elected officials would look more toward doing what is right in service of America and less toward selling out their office to raise money for the next election.

Anyone for TEA?
