Let's get this idea circulating, and find a lot of people and organizations who will act.
Elected Congressional officials who draft legislation that violates the provisions of the U.S. Constitution, elected officials who vote to approve such legislation, and officials in the bureaucracy and law enforcement who enforce such regulations, are in violation of their Oath of Office to support the Constitution. Once the Oath is violated, the official forfeits his/her office and no longer may create or vote for legislation or work for government in any capacity.
The proposed new Gun Laws are an excellent place to introduce this concept of personal liability for Constitutional Responsibility. The proposed new gun laws INFRINGE upon the peoples’ Constitutional right to Keep and Bear Arms. The legislation itself is an Infringement, even if not eventually voted into law.
The Second Amendment says: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
Article 5 of the U.S. Constitution says, in part: "The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath of Affirmation, to support this Constitution . . ."
Article 2 of the U.S. Constitution says, in part: "Before (the President) enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation: 'I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.'"
Nancy Pelosi, the Democrats, and RINO Republicans, who drafted the new gun laws legislation that Infringes upon the Second Amendment, and everyone who votes to approve the new gun laws, are all in massive violation of their Oath to support and defend the Constitution, and are therefore no longer authorized to conduct the business of government. That liability includes those individuals' immediate and permanent dismissal from office, immediate termination of pay and benefits, immediate termination of all government retirement pensions, and immediate eviction from government offices and buildings. If those individuals remain in office after violating their Oath to support the Constitution, then they are guilty of impersonating a government official and are subject to a fine and time in prison.
The Constitution couldn't be clearer. Support and Defense of the Constitution is an entry-level requirement for holding public office. Violation of that agreement is sufficient for immediate removal from public office.
If you agree with this, please circulate this editorial to all persons and organizations on your mailing list. Let's get together and throw the Congressional Constitution-trasher bums out.
