2:00 p.m. Military service medals presentation to siblings of Renaud Michaud

Renaud Michaud of Frenchville, Maine was killed in the South Pacific during WWII and is buried in the Philippines. Congressman Michaud worked with the family to attain his military service medals, including a Silver Star, Bronze Star and Purple Heart. In addition, working with the American Battle Monuments Commission, Congressman Michaud will provide Renaud Michaud's surviving siblings large color photos of the cemetery their brother is buried at and one of his headstone. Congressman Michaud will also present the family a Presidential Memorial Certificate that is from the VA and signed by the President. Local veterans will be on hand to help with the presentation.
