Steven
W. Bilodeau, a student at Greenville High School and resident of
Greenville, and Michael Gerard St. Denis, a student at Phillips Exeter
Academy and a resident of Auburn, will be offered an appointment to the
United States Military Academy at West Point. Rep Mike Michaud nominated both
students, whose appointment letters are expected to arrive in early
February.
"One of the greatest privileges of being a member of Congress is
having the opportunity to nominate Maine's brightest and hardest working
students to the U.S. service academies," said Michaud. "The future of
America's military strength depends on finding and cultivating
exceptional young leaders who are willing and able to serve their
country. I congratulate Stephen and Michael on their past successes and
wish them both the best of luck in the future."
Michaud encourages Maine students who are looking to attend a service
academy to call his Lewiston office (207-782-3704) or visit his website for more details.
