27,000 patrons in 2 weeks at Cross Insurance Center Bangor

Over the past two weeks, Global Spectrum welcomed over 27,000 patrons through the doors at Cross Insurance Center to attend a number of events held at the venue. A total of 10 different events took place making use of both the arena as well as the convention center spaces.

In the back to back weeks, events hosted included the 2 day Dennis Paper & Food Service Show, 4 different Monster Jam performances, 3 days of the Bangor Comic and Toy Convention, the Walgreens Bangor Baby Expo, 7 shows of the Anah Shrine Circus, the Bangor Parks and Recreation Mother/Son Dance, as well as 4 other separate meetings.

After opening doors September 10, 2013, Cross Insurance Center has experienced a variety of great shows and events throughout the year and continues to be busy. Cross Insurance Center events currently on sale for May include: Camelot on May 7th, Disney Live! Three Classic Fairy Tales on May 22nd, and the Central Maine Roller derby match on May 30th. Other notable events taking place in May are: EMCC Graduation, Husson University Graduation, the Northeastern Loggers Association Expo, the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce Business Expo, the 20th Anniversary Greater Bangor CVB Tourism Awards, and the 2015 Senior Expo.

"These last two weeks are a testament to the exciting things going on here regularly at the Cross Insurance Center and in the City of Bangor," stated Global Spectrum's Joe Imbriaco, Cross Insurance Center General Manager.
