Why Do We Have Homegrown Terrorists?

In an article entitled: "Aussie jihadists lured" written by Ian McPhedran and Scott Murdoch (Courier Mail Queensland), it is reported that the Australian Treasurer Peter Costello has lashed out at home-grown terrorists. Mr. Costello is reported to have said:

  • "Unfortunately in Australia there are people who have been recruited and radicalised and are prepared to commit crimes."
  • "These, by the way, were kids who were born in Australia, their name was not Abdul, it was Jack."

Mr. Costello is not the first to wonder why Westerners suddenly turn jihadist. Personally, I believe there are 2 major reasons the second of which is related to political correctness and its' symbiote multiculturalism.

The first reason is that our kids have been raised in a secular society that has done everything it can to destroy religion and deny the existence of God.

As every convert to Islam or other religion will tell you, there was a void in their life that was filled by an acknowledgment of and relationship to the Divine. The Intellectual morons of western countries including our own simply cannot understand this or accept it, because to do so would negate their own ideology.

Any psychologist or counselor will tell you that kids today have an emptiness that needs filling. For some it is sex, for others drugs, for others gambling, football, working or whatever. So many people feel 'lost'. They were given everything except what they really needed and wanted. 'LOVE!'

The secular social engineers have succeeded in removing the historical and cultural foundations that once kept us reasonably on the straight and narrow, and given us little in return. What it has given us, is one section of society that fills the void through social activism - fighting the good fight of their ideological faith. This brings us to the second reason for homegrown terrorists.

In destroying traditional culture, and attempting to put into it's place a 'multitude of cultures' (multi-culture), that symbiotic political correctness creature that lives off 'multiculturalism', has somewhat succeeded in giving special status to 'other culture'. As such, for many, this 'special culture' is very attractive. This concept contains two evils.

The first is, that every society MUST have ONE MAJOR defining culture - the dominant culture - but 'dominant' is an offensive word in PC. Without a dominant culture, the vacuum must be filled by the victor that emerges from competing cultures.

The major competing cultures today are Feminism, Homosexuality, Evangelical Christianity and Islam. Feminism and homosexuality have not filled the void in many people's lives and since evangelical Christianity is too American, and we are biased against the USA, for many, Islam is the only choice.

The second evil therefore, is that within Islam, there is a radical faction which feeds off the already existing dysfunction caused by secular social engineering. A convert therefore, is easily led astray, because both secular society and Islamic society, preach the same message. For secular society however, the message is basically rhetorical. For the Islamic fundamentalist, it is literal.

Within the context of all the forgoing, the real problem in Australia, is that secular society has done its best to destroy traditional culture and to destroy the JudeoChristian foundation, while failing in its objective of offering something worthwhile in its place.

Since the 'exotic culture' has been elevated above local culture, it is only natural that the 'exotic' culture draws a certain amount of converts, at which point, the two divergent cultures now converge in their contempt for traditional western culture.

Simple really. Too simple for the academics!  Their egos are so big that they can't see past themselves.
