Update on BenDedek in Baotou

I advised the other day that I have been publishing everything that writers send to me for publication here at Magic City while Ken in Away but that I was facing a crisis that would leave me without access to the internet.

As you can see by the three articles published today, I am back online at least temporarily.

I am still in Baotou. Friends begged me to stay while they sought to assist me in my troubles with EET private language school.

Currently I am in contact with the Baotou Foreign Affairs Office who are assisting me to 'legally' set myself free from this school.

Before I can be employed by another school certain formalities must be followed and although the Foreign Affairs Office believe that I shall have no problem getting permission to start another job, we are still going to seek legal clarity of issues.

The good news is that as from October 2nd I will have proper accomodation with unrestricted internet access so I shall endeavour to publish everything sent to be to publish.

On the downside, Baotou is currently suffering from Swine Flu - H1N1 is it? Schools have closed down earlier than intended for National Day festivities, with some schools in lockdown. Gossip is rampant but I have no hard facts about the number of deaths.

So here's hoping that that bout of flu I had a month ago was it and I am now immune.

Wish me well in Everything - and thanks to those of you who actually sent me encouraging emails in response to my original article about my difficulties.
