Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
In May 2006, I wrote:
- "Those anti-semitic idiot PC guilt ridden middle class bleeding hearts who constantly blame Israel and the USA for Islamic Terrorism, should start connecting with reality and take note. The violence between Palestine and Israel is not the popular uprising of a down trodden people, but a violence instigated by politically driven war mongers who care not a whit for their people's condition or situation." Civil War in Palestine: Peace in Israel?
Today I would like to ask where are the voices that regularly condemn Israel for the sufferings of Palestinian Peoples. As reported by Khaled Abu Toameh in the Jerusalem Post, 11 people have been killed, and over 150 wounded in Hamas-Fatah clashes in Gaza and the West Bank in the last few days. The situation is being described as the worst in a decade, and reminiscent of the Civil War in Lebanon.
In the last week the Saudi's have again raised the issue of Israel's recognition and the return of Pre-1967 territory. Arafat refused this idea long ago. What was freely offered back then was rejected, and what was rejected became the cause of continuing terror, and the terror that continued is now being promised to halt, if what was freely offered, will be offered again. So let me ask you, "Why have the Palestinian People been suffering, if not for Palestinian political agendas?"
Neither politically motivated bleeding heart idiots in the West, nor the political agendas of Palestinian factions, have a right to make the People of Palestine suffer.
The issue is not one of finding a way to peace. That way has always been open. More than all the political demands of the bleeding heart Muslims could have been achieved if Palestine had accepted statehood in 1948. No land would have been lost to Israel, if the Arab countries had not attacked Israel and lost.
Statehood and Peace have never been the agenda of Palestine. The agenda has been hatred toward Israel, and the people of Palestine have been the fodder! The problem has never been religion either. Just look to Iran for your example. Jews, Christians and Muslims live in peace. Exclusive: Talking to Teheran's Jews by SETH WIKAS in Teheran.
The Palestinian peoples have only one neighbour who understands and cares about their suffering - The Jews of Israel.
The real agenda is and has always been 'fundamentalism', which is not a religious issue, it is a psychological condition manifesting a desire for power, control and a feeling of righteousness.
Social activists exhibit this condition, as do political associations, as do the religious. The people of Palestine suffer because those leading them have been suffering from a psychological condition. As for the bleeding heart anti Israel Westerners, they suffer from a different condition. They are just plain arrogant! They put their political agendas above the people they profess to care about.
The People of Palestine have suffered as long as the people of Israel. The only difference between them, is that the Israeli Government has done everything to make it's people prosper and be happy.
It's time for the People of Palestine to demand Peace; to demand loving kindness from their leaders; to demand an end to political agendas that kill and maim their families; to demand the same right to internal security that the Israeli's have had.
It's time for the People of Palestine to stop being sheep led to the slaughter on the altar of political egos.
