For many years now I have been writing Social Commentaries at Kingscalendar.com and at Magic City Morning Star News and the pre-eminent focus of those commentaries has been 'Political Correctness' in all its various and sundry forms. As I wrote in Pathetic Americans (April 15, 2014)
|R.P. BenDedek April 5, 2014 Guangfu Suzhou China|
I personally try never to miss an opportunity to lash out at a hypocritical entity that presents itself as caring for humanity; which calls for non-discrimination, and which demands Justice for all, but which is in reality, a deceiver of the gullible and a destroyer of western culture, tradition and religion. That entity presents itself under many different nice sounding names like 'social justice,' 'political correctness,' 'boycott Israel movement,' 'multiculturalism,' and a host of others.
The ideology is always the same - 'Righteous and Just treatment of all. But ...those of whom we ought to expect the most righteous and just behavior, eventually find that their 'precious ideology' comes with a price -- hypocritical subservience to political power."
Over the years I've watched as this ubiquitous malevolence has pranced around dressed like a vestal virgin as if it is as innocent as the day is long. It goes from here to there stirring up the mob calling for their righteous indignation over everything that is wrong in the world and in doing so it appears to be a genuine saint. The problem for me personally has always been twofold. The first is in how to articulate what I see and the second is in providing sufficient demonstration of the hypocrisy of this malicious entity that so enthralls the masses. But then a strange thing happened. A very minor and innocuous event in the overall scheme of things set off a chain reaction in my thinking, and today I want to share that reaction with you.
In an article titled: Kim Novak hits back at post-Oscar 'bullies' dated April 19, 2014, Kim Novak contrasted the negative reaction in the US to that when she was honored at the Cannes Film Festival last year. "I received an overwhelming standing ovation. Yet, in Hollywood, after the Oscars, I was bullied by the press and the public on the Internet and TV," she wrote.
I was thunderstruck by what this 81 year old woman said. Her countrymen, her people and her industry acted like a bunch of schoolyard bullies to an 81 year old woman. "How is it" I asked myself, "that in a country which preaches 'political correctness' and 'non discrimination,' an 81 year old woman could be so maltreated by the public and how is it possible that they thought it was just fun to do?"
Think about that. Had she been black, an immigrant, gay, a Muslim or in some way handicapped, the whole of American society would have risen up in her defense. But no! She was a white former movie star. It wasn't a 'female' that was attacked because the feminist movement would surely have risen up in her defense. It wasn't an 'old person' who was attacked because the geriatric support groups would have surely risen up in her defense. No! It was just a white movie star so it doesn't matter! Since when I ask you, has attacking an 81 year old woman been declared an acceptable sport?
Now before you start providing your excuses, please let me refer back to the article first quoted on this page. Titled "Pathetic Americans" at Kingscalendar, at Magic City it bore the title "American Universities turn blind eye to female abuse." That article was about how the Islamic Movement in the United States has been able to bring pressure to bear on three colleges to prevent them from airing a film about violence against women in Islam. One might think that everyone would be standing up to expose this violence and help such women - but NO! The hypocritical nature of political correctness is such that at various times and in sundry places PC becomes hierarchical and since protecting Islam from disrespect and profiling and all other negative connotations ranks higher than women and their pathetic so called rights, these universities cancelled the event. These universities could well learn a lesson from Kim Novak who in the previously mentioned article said:
"Years ago, I walked away from Hollywood partially because I didn't stand up to the bullies. I caved in to the pressure instead of fighting for what I felt was right... and I didn't have the courage to prove myself to my peers through my work."
The hypocrisy of political correctness and whatever other names that this malicious entity conceals itself behind, is that no matter what it may teach you about right and wrong, 'in real life' you discover that it is the powers that be who decide from moment to moment what is right and which cause you must support and naturally which you must become violently opposed to. Everything ultimately is about obedience to "The Cause." The only problem is that the average man in the street hasn't the faintest clue what the real cause is that this entity is fighting for.
In McCarthyism by any other name. which I published at Kingscalendar on March 25, 2014 I talked about an episode of 'Touched by an Angel' that I had just seen on YouTube. That episode was about the film industry during the McCarthy Era and it related how FEAR of those with political power caused otherwise good and honest people to err both by commission and omission. The episode reminds one that people who exercised their freedom of thought, belief and speech during that era became targets of those who believed that they had no right to those thoughts and beliefs and certainly no right to speak about them. And such was the fear of so many people, that they willingly succumbed to the pressure of the powers that were, to turn against their friends, family and work colleagues. In that article I pointed out that:
Today, we live in a society that says 'thank God' that that type of behavior is way back there in the past. Unfortunately it is not! Our Western societies are full of 'ideologues' using every means at their disposal to force their ideological principles onto people who ought to have the right to reject those ideas and ideals. But with each new day leading us into our future, we are being led deeper and deeper into an ideology of 'submission to the powers that be.'
In February of this year Tom DeWeese of American Policy.org speaking at the annual Clouds Over America conference in Oklahoma City, OK. said:
"Freedom." We use that word a lot. Do we all really know what that word means? It's used in so many different ways. Do we understand how it is attained? Most importantly, do we understand how it is used by some to actually take freedom away? Simply put, freedom is the ability to act without hindrance or restraint. Freedom is owning your life, your actions, your labor. We say we support the "principles" of freedom. But what are those principles and where did they come from?
We live in a world that preaches that God is dead and that religion is just archaic superstition and we are taught to aspire to higher forms of thought, belief and practice. If one makes fun of gays, they are branded homophobic. If they make fun of immigrants or tell Irish jokes then they are racist. If they make fun of and insult an 81 year old female actress - it doesn't matter!
We actually live in a world of hypocrisy. If men may not say negative things about women, then women should not be allowed to say negative things about men. If we are not allowed to make jokes about other ethnicities or nationalities then they should likewise not be allowed to make fun of us. If white people are not allowed to make comments about the color of someone's skin, then people of color ought not to be making comments about the lack of color from which white people suffer. But this is not how this malevolent entity works. Under the guise of 'justice and righteousness,' this demonic hypocrisy demands that anything White, Christian, Western, Male, Heterosexual deserves no respect and should be punished for every real or imagined, intended or unintentional, current day and any time in the past - offence against humanity, and any other being not conforming to the dictates of the political powers that be, should likewise be made to suffer irrespective of the 'general exemption clause' which would normally tag them as 'victims' not 'oppressors.'
We are taught that if we say all the right words we will find ourselves living in a paradise of non-discrimination and loving acceptance of all. In reality however, Western people are filled with various forms of angst and will use any excuse to lash out at anyone who offends them. Look through the comments section on any internet site, be it a blog or mainstream newspaper, and you will see the anger and the hatred, the lack of respect and the cynicism, the intolerance for anyone who in some way or another offends my concept of MY HUMAN RIGHTS.
Angry, hate filled and violent people do not produce love and harmony. People who pretend to stand up for justice but in doing so speak angrily, hatefully and violently are not people who believe in tolerance and respect.
If you want to see the real creature behind the mask of tolerance, respect, dignity and non-discrimination, try disagreeing with it sometime. See how understanding, loving, patient, forgiving and above all 'humble' this creature is. You will find its characteristics quite the opposite of those described in the Bible as the characteristics of God. Is it any wonder that it wants God dead?
I have lived in China for eleven years now and while I can't definitively say that Chinese people are inherently less angry, hate filled and violent than westerners, I can say that if they are, it is well hidden. One feels 'safe' in China. That is not my experience in Australia. But my life in China, irrespective of how similar or different the Chinese people are to my own, has produced something in me that no one at home can understand.
When I comment on this or that angst, behavior or public discourse evident at home, I am told that 'it is normal,' that there is nothing 'odd' about it. Whether or not it is due to my Chinese fluency being insufficient to truly understand the common conversations going on around me in the street in China, I do not know, but what I do know is that I have lived now for a decade outside of and away from 'normal western behavior,' and if you ask me to choose between the peace I have in my heart here in China, and the arrogant, purile, angry and vindictive behavior that I see in everyday activities in the West, then I would have to choose China, because the western emotional state is 'NOT HEALTHY - NOT NORMAL' and certainly does not reflect the ideals that Western countries claim to own.
From whence does this murderous anger come?
It comes from two places. The first is to be found in the seat of 'My Human Rights' and the second is found in the double bind in which all who submit to Cultural Marxism find themselves.
How can we free of ourselves of this anger in our midst? I really don't know. What I do know is what Kim Novak discovered.
If you don't stand up to the bullies but cave in to the pressure, and if you don't fight for what is right, then all you have is 'hot air' and you will never discover your 'real worth' as a human being.

McCarthyism is the practice of making accusations of disloyalty, subversion, or treason without proper regard for evidence. It also means "the practice of making unfair allegations or using unfair investigative techniques, especially in order to restrict dissent or political criticism. Our Western societies are full of 'ideologues' using every means at their disposal to force their ideological principles onto people who ought to have the right to reject those ideas and ideals. But with each new day leading us into our future, we are being lead deeper and deeper into an ideology of 'submission to the powers that be.
Islamophobia: Irrational Phobia or Rational Fear?
by R.P. BenDedek
February 13, 2014
I called that xxxxx a dirty rotten liar because he is a dirty rotten liar, not because I hate Islam or Muslims. By some people's definition of Islamophobia, saying anything nasty about a Muslim should be a crime - even if it is true. You think I made that up didn't you? The fact of the matter is that it has twice already been declared in a court of law the 'truth' is no defense in a 'hate speech' trial. My fear is that my own country has become so weak, gutless and godless that one day it will become an Islamic Republic. My fear is quite rational. Do I blame Muslims for this? No!
The Hidden Agenda: Israel, Palestine and Egypt.

It seems that Israel has conspired to keep the truth from us. Watch the video and see how Israel treats Muslims, Druze and Arabs of all persuasions. But what is Egypt today? First and foremost it is an Islamic Country, one that has been struggling to catch up with Western economic success. But it is not exactly a success story
