Taiwan - Canadian Venture in China in trouble.

Taiwanese businessman Mr. David Gao (Gao Jiawei), the Shanghai Franchiser of the EET brand of English language schools in China, recently opened a new EET School in Baotou Inner Mongolia with a Canadian Citizen who has publicly stated that she is a Doctor.

Miss Sabrina Cui/Chui (Cui Lirong), a Han Chinese Baotou Inner Mongolia Native, who holds Canadian Citizenship, opened EET Baotou on July 1st this year, under an agreement with Mr. Gao. The actual nature of the business agreement between the two principals is unknown.

Whilst their language school venture ostensibly provides English tutoring for Chinese Students, their business interests also involve the opening of a 'nurses training school', to provide basic nursing training to young women so that they may qualify for positions in Canadian hospitals or Nursing Schools.

It seems however, that EET Baotou is suffering from quite a number of problems, not the least of which is finding and holding qualified staff. Apparently, their one and only 'foreign' Staff Member as at September 27th, who had been working for EET since June 26th, quit work and moved out of his company provided accommodation.

It is also reported that not even the Chinese staff like working for the company, as to date, the longest serving Chinese member of staff has only been with the company for two months. The rest of the staff have been employed for less than one month.

The company has also lost two Chinese office managers since it opened three months ago.

Further updates as the story unfolds.
