Sarah Palin, Feminists & Marxist Ideology

On September 9th 2008, Kathryn DeBrecht published an article at Magic City entitled: Are Fathers Not_Important in which she stated:

  • After years of championing women's rights, liberals and feminists are now attacking the one woman who shattered one of the highest glass ceilings in our nation.
  • Since the selection of Governor Sarah Palin as John McCain's Vice Presidential running mate, the liberal left has been in a tizzy. After years of championing women's rights, liberals and feminists are now attacking the one woman who shattered one of the highest glass ceilings in our nation.

Whilst at first glance Paul Streitz article of September 2008 may not seem that connected to the issue of Sarah Palin and the feminist reaction to her new position, the article entitled Who Stole Our Culture  is in fact quite relevant.

  • Who stole our culture? By William S. Lind Military historian and strategist
  • This column is an excerpt from Dr. Ted Baehr and Pat Boone's new book "The Culture-wise Family: Upholding Christian Values in a Mass Media World," Chapter 10, (Ventura, CA: Regal Books, 2007).
  • Where did it all go? How did that America become the sleazy, decadent place we live in today - so different that those who grew up prior to the '60s feel like it's a foreign country? Did it just "happen"? It didn't just "happen." In fact, a deliberate agenda was followed to steal our culture and leave a new and very different one in its place.
  • What happened, in short, is that America's traditional culture, which had grown up over generations from our Western, Judeo-Christian roots, was swept aside by an ideology. We know that ideology best as "political correctness" or "multi-culturalism." It really is cultural Marxism, Marxism translated from economic into cultural terms in an effort that goes back not to the 1960s, but to World War I. Incredible as it may seem, just as the old economic Marxism of the Soviet Union has faded away, a new cultural Marxism has become the ruling ideology of America's elites. The No. 1 goal of that cultural Marxism, since its creation, has been the destruction of Western culture and the Christian religion.

Whilst Sarah Palin may appear to represent or fulfil the feminist dream, she herself represents everything to which feminism objects, and she does this first and foremost through her very real religious commitment.  Religion is the antithesis of Marxist ideology.

Recently I managed to obtain a small portion of some academic work, access to which is usually gained by password.  In that article there is some very interesting material that is fundamentally intertwined with the topics raised in the two articles recently published at Magic City.

As the article intimates, in this humanitarian, just and ideological era, the true driving forces of the norm to which the elites would like society to become accustomed, care nothing for the democratic process since they consider themselves like unto the Almighty who must be obeyed lest he smite you.

Sociology in Switzerland - http://geser.net/pc.pdf  - Political Correctness: mental disorder, childish fad or advance of human civilization? Hans Geser [January 2008, Release 1.0]

  • In everything they do, PC Zealots are convinced to be 'right', even if their attitude is not shared by a majority of others.
  • "The Politically Correct are self-righteous in a quasi-religious spirit. A sort of vanguard of enlightenment, they do not accept the judgment of voters (unenlightened) or consumers (selfish) and are prepared to impose reforms against the public will" [Coleman, Perer 2000 What is Political Correctness? The Pros and Cons. Quadrant March 1. http://www.liberalsindia.com/relevence/PoliticalCorrectness.php]
  • ....Instead, they claim to "be right" in an absolute sense, irrespective of specific historical periods or other human cultures.
  • This lack of a relativizing historical perspective is vividly manifested in the endeavor of feminists to accomplish a new translation of the bible in "just language" - thus invalidating all prior translations as flawed products of unenlightened patriarchal stages [Leicht, Robert 2006 Verschleierte Flucht In: DIE ZEIT online 21.12]

If one wonders why Sarah Palin has not thrilled the feminists, the reason might justifiably be found in the fact that while her success fits the ideological dream, 'her personal ideology' does not.  To quote someone of whom it is recorded in some ancient book that he said that it is better for one man to die rather than the whole nation be destroyed; Sarah Palin's success cannot be allowed to stand in the way of the ultimate objective of the Marxists, which is, "God must Die!"

Whilst not at all wishing to disrespect the work cited in Paul Streitz' article, but rather as a way of demonstrating it's truth, allow me to quote an email that I received this week.  I think that it sums up quite nicely, what is happening in the West.

London Times Obituary of the late Mr. Common Sense Interesting and sadly rather true.

'Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.

It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an Aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, I Want It Now, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.
