Alleged racist events in Australia recently caused a storm throughout the world, particularly in India. The deaths of some Indian persons living in Australia and injury to others, provided fertile and as some would say, 'obviously justifiable' grounds for the accusation that Australians are racist. I was, prior to returning to Australia in January, already following the events as they unfolded, and the media slant given, in view of the actual facts presented, was alarming. In December 2009, an Indian man's body was found. His throat had been slashed and his body burned. No other details, facts or particulars were available, but immediately the 'racism' frenzy was on. Not long after, another Indian man was allegedly attacked and burned by unidentified attackers. Despite being unable to provide Police with any details about the attackers, the media fanned the flames of racism. On both occasions the Indian government jumped onto it's high righteous horse and condemned both the attacks and the country for it's obvious racism. But as these next reports will indicate, neither of these two events were remotely related to Racism. Married couple charged after Indian man's body found burnt, dumped Jan 28, 2010
So overwhelming is the White Western sense of Guilt at being so privileged, that people find it necessary to beat their breasts and take responsibility for things which are not their responsibility, and expunge the nebulous sense of guilt by adopting a false identity as 'racists'. Despite all the media hand wringing and 'foreigners' raising their voices in righteous indignation, the murdered man was killed by his own countrymen, for reasons not yet explained at the time they were intercepted. In the case of the Indian man who was attacked and burned, the police investigation revealed that he had staged the incident himself, and worse, had stood by and watched as 'fabricated' racial tension rose in the country. Man 'faked attack to claim insurance'
If people thought that Australia was a racist country when these events happened, one can only wonder what the Australian people think of themselves now that it has been revealed that they were 'set up'. As one person put it to me, 'I was never a racist, but all this constant B.S. and false accusation is definitely leading me to the conclusion that we should kick all the Indians out of the country. So I guess I really am becoming a racist.' This begs the old question of which came first, the chicken or the egg. Are Australians racist, or are they becoming racist because they are constantly and falsely accused in their own country of being racist. Now despite the fact that both these events were shown not to be connected to racism, the local media, determined not to let the truth stand in the way of a good story, have continued to dump false guilt onto the public and the world at large. Four more Indians attacked in brisbane
The report certainly casts a negative shadow over Australia and it's people; but only when one plays the role of the media dupe. There were 4 fresh attacks, three of them against taxi drivers. Therein lies the first piece of 'false racist guilt'. Having been a police office some 30 years ago, at a time when there was not a high proportion of Indian Taxi drivers, I know first hand that attacks on Taxi drivers are common place. In virtually every instance, the attacker is drunk, and the event takes place in the early hours of the morning when not too many people are around. With Indians now accounting for 70% of drivers, the percentage rate of 'Indians' being attacked is a foregone conclusion. Were they Vietnamese, Chinese, Americans, or Englishmen, the percentage of attacks on Taxi drivers would remain the same. The final note on the report as listed above, is that half of the attackers have been juveniles. This is an indictment on the way in which our kids are being raised, not an indictment of racism. But interestingly enough, no figures were provided in relation to how many 'non Indians' are attacked per month in Australia. When a white man is attacked by a 'coloured man', what do we call that? And when a white man is assaulted by another white man, what do we call that? We don't know do we? We have no name for it. The only name we have applies to white people attacking black people, and interesting enough, none of the statistics in relation to the prevalence of attacks reveal how many of the attackers were 'non white'. While I was in Australia, an old white woman died after being attacked and raped in her home. For all to see on the evening news, the offender was shown being escorted out of the courtroom with his shirt pulled above his head to conceal his face. What was the colour of his skin? Did anyone make mention of this black skinned man's 'racist' attack on the old woman? No! When it comes to physical attacks, another report stated that in Queensland, 50% of nurses claim to have at least once in their professional career, been attacked and assaulted. At one particular hospital years ago, they needed special security in the hospital car parks because of the number of attacks on nurses going off duty. Would one suggest that 50% of the nurses are black or Indian? 50% totals a lot of people in the nursing profession. How do we account for this violence if it is not 'racially' motivated? Is it possible that violence has it's own ends that are unrelated to 'race and colour'? One Indian taxi driver in Brisbane said to me that the whole media thing about racism was rubbish. He pointed out that it is common place in India for taxi drivers to be assaulted by passengers. Can we call that racist? Despite all the Media hype about racist attacks on Indians in Australia, one report related that "there is a disparity between perceptions and the facts". Permanent Indian population was not at higher risk of assault than any other group. By Melissa Jenkins February 06, 2010
In a violent age we are all susceptible to physical assault, and those in the least physically defensible position are most at risk from opportunistic people. Needless to say, if you also happen to be a person carrying money, you are going to be a target for those not concerned with legalities. The Victorian premier although doing a good job in confronting the Indian government and media's handling of the recent reports, failed to drive home to local Media, their culpability in ignoring facts for the sake of a good story. Brumby slams Indian media over reports (Feb 3)
I have written and warned in the past, that the reverse racism that has been showing it's head in Australia will one day lead to true racism. When a people are constantly forced to carry a false guilt; when accusations are constantly being demonstrated to have been false, those forced to wear the false guilt will rebel, and when they do, what will appear will be genuine, justifiable, racism. At the end of the day, according to those politically correct false guilt laden B.S. artists, only white men are capable of being racists. It's time to reject the politically correct lies and put a stop to opportunistic people manipulating our 'legislated guilt'. R.P.
