Here are excerpts from three different articles which all portray symptoms of PC induced pathological blindness.
Mark Steyn's August 9, 2013 article titled: "Know Thine Enemy", he poses a striking question by pointing out that 'Major Hasan (Fort Hood) is honest about himself; why aren't we?'
He commences his article by pointing out that 3 years 8 months and 8 days after Pearl Harbor was attacked, the Japanese surrendered but that 3 years 9 months and 1 day after the Fort Hood massacre, the murderer's court-martial finally got under way. He says:
The U.S. Army seems disinclined to hold anything against him (Major Hasan), especially the 13 corpses plus an unborn baby. Major Hasan fired his lawyers, presumably because they were trying to get him off -- on the grounds that he'd had a Twinkie beforehand, or his beard don't fit so you must acquit, or some such. As a self-respecting jihadist, Major Hasan quite reasonably resented being portrayed as just another all-American loon gone postal. So he sacked his defense team
Major Hasan. He's admirably upfront about who and what he is -- a "Soldier of Allah," as he put on his business card. On Tuesday, he admitted he was a traitor who had crossed over from "the bad side" (America's) to "the good side" (Islam's). He has renounced his U.S. citizenship and its effete protections such as workplace-violence disability leave. He professes loyalty to America's enemies. He says, "I am the shooter." He helpfully informs us that that's his gun. In this week's one-minute statement, he spoke more honestly and made more sense than Obama, Gates, Casey, the Armed Forces Court of Appeals, two judges, the prosecution and defense lawyers, and mountains of bureaucratic reports and media coverage put together.
In the Clarion Project's August 22 2013 article titled: "Million Muslim March on 9/11 Linked to Islamist Radicals" it is stated:
"the organizers of the Million American March Against Fear (formerly the Million Muslim March), which will be held on September 11, claim that the march is being held to battle fear, discrimination and human rights violations. They are being wordsmiths. This is an Islamist-linked, conspiracy-promoting political rally that uses 9/11 to push an anti-Western narrative.
The march is being organized by American Muslim Political Action Committee (AMPAC), an organization linked to Islamist radicals and 9/11 "Truthers." The head organizers have personal histories of promoting an Islamist agenda for America, anti-Semitism and 9/11 conspiracy theories. In fact, according to one of the organizers, the name of the march was changed to accommodate non-Muslim 9/11 conspiracy theory groups.
Defenders of Islam come up with all sorts of ways to discredit such claims, but there is a saying at home that if something walks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it must be a duck. The forces pushing Islam (not to be confused with Muslims practicing Islam) have only one goal which has been stated over and over again by many people in many places at many different times: "To turn the world to Islam" (and destroy the Big Satan - The USA - in the process.)
ACT! for America about which I wrote on Aug 9, 2013 highlighted an article by publishing an extract of Thomas Sowell's August 20, 2013 article in Jewish World Review titled: "Reality Versus Mirages in Egypt"
Nothing symbolizes the Utopianism of our times like both liberals and some conservatives calling for us to cut off aid to the Egyptian military, because of the widespread killings in what is becoming a civil war in Egypt. Such utter lack of realism from the left is not new, but hearing some conservatives saying the same things takes some getting used to. President Obama's call for the Egyptians to end the violence and form an "inclusive" government, with all factions represented, may sound good to many Americans. But there is not a snowball's chance in hell that it will happen.
Egypt existed for thousands of years before there was a United States of America. In all those millennia, Egypt has never had a free or democratic society. Nor is Egypt unique in that.
Of all the different nations that have existed at various times and places throughout recorded history, it is doubtful that even ten percent were free or democratic.
Even free and democratic nations existing today took centuries to achieve freedom and democracy. Barack Obama may have enough ego to imagine that he could accomplish, during his White House years, what took centuries to accomplish elsewhere. But do others, including some conservatives, need to share that delusion? See the Full Article
We seem to have so succumbed to the allure of the promises of Political Correctness and Human Rights Nirvana, that we are quite prepared to support terrorists and terrorism and commit national suicide. Major Hasan who murdered those people at Fort Hood is sane, rational and proud of his rejection of the values that Americans hold dear. The Islamists - the radicals who, like Major Hasam care not for the values of the USA and who would quite willingly take the lives of their neighbors and their children if it served the cause - play word and mind games with the politically correct naive and otherwise feeble of mind whose self sense of superiority leads them to believe that what they hold dear MUST and WILL be accepted by everyone around them. This is exemplified in the US relationship with the Government of Egypt. Bleeding hearts know not what is right and wrong; what is good and what is evil; they only know that their hearts bleed for 'poor defenseless victims' of someone's oppression.
Whether American's want to hear it or not or like it or not, the United States of America is not God's arm of judgment or arbiter of the world's financial, political or social problems. That is what the United Nations is supposed to be about and if it isn't doing the job then perhaps it should be dispensed with. Egypt is not America, Syria is not America, Iran is not Iran, and their peoples don't have the same history, beliefs or opinions that are generally shared and taken for granted in the USA.
The western world needs to reclaim some lost commonsense. It needs to begin assessing situations in a logical and realistic way rather than react to situations on the basis of a man-made (devoid of any god including Allah), 'anti-evolution' (survival of the fittest), feel-good (self-righteous) ideology.
Political correctness today as far as Mid-Eastern politics and Radical Islam are concerned, demonstrates a pathological blindness not just to the realities of life in those arenas, but complete lack of comprehension that Islam has a complete aversion to everything that Political correctness and 'human rights' doctrines support: homosexuality, secular humanism, women's rights, democracy, free speech, the right to watch pornography and to protest against the powers that be.
Political Correctness and 'human rights' are the 'FOX' upon whose back the scorpion is riding and the end result is inescapable.
There is an old adage that says that we should choose between the lesser of two evils, but that only applies when a choice MUST be made and CAN ONLY BE MADE between two evils. We are not obliged to adopt the extremes of the ideologies of political correctness and 'human rights'. Anything that operates in the extreme does damage. Everything must be balanced so that the greatest possible hope for harmony exists. Kowtowing to Radical Islamists in the name of Political Correctness is wrong. Abuse of Muslims because of Radical Islamists is wrong. Giving concessions to Muslims when those same concessions are removed from Christians is wrong. Pretending that a self-avowed terrorist is a 'victim' of a non-existent involvement in frontline warfare is wrong. Supporting one side of nation's civil war over the other is also wrong - particularly when experience has shown that Islamic countries like to bite the hand that feeds them. As the Chinese government likes to say: 'Foreign countries should not interfere in China's domestic affairs'.
We have to stop being blinded by our own ideologies and political aspirations and let Egypt, Syria and Other countries sort out their own problems, and then we have to stand back and respect the side that won. If the United Nations cannot deal with the problems of the nations, then we have no business sticking our noses into another country's affairs.

Terrorism the Media doesn't want to report on

Every time Israel takes action against Hamas in Gaza and starts blowing up tunnels, the 'western activists' start gushing tears from their eyes and blood from their hearts. The purpose here today is simply to provide information to counter the irrationality of 'agenda driven' activists who seek to control the emotions and minds of the silent and somewhat mindless majority. I am still 8 years old, hospitalized in critical condition. Screaming from pain. Bandaged from head to toe. And my head is not the same. No longer full of golden long hair. The head is burnt. The face, back, the legs and arms, burnt. I am surrounded by family members, but my mother is not with me.

American Education is actively turning young Americans into terrorists. The speaker is Brigitte Gabriel (pseudonym), a Lebanese American journalist, author, and activist. Within the video she produces documents which purport that despite so called separation of State and Church, Islam is being introduced to school children at school, and via injection of big dollars into universities all over the USA, Students are being taught to hate the USA.
Political Islam is full of hypocrisy and lies
by R.P. BenDedek

Politicians care only for themselves and nothing for the truth unless it suits their purposes. What they do call truth is usually nothing but lies! The general population - never seem to notice when radicals of all nationalities, religions and persuasions turn to 'ad hominems' rather than to logical debate when someone disagrees with them. The honest man will argue his point honestly. The perverted man ignores the argument and attacks the man (ad hominem) as though truth is not found in discovering and weighing the evidence and facts but in the character and 'Politically Correct Nature' of the person speaking them.
