It can make you laugh and it can make you cry, but will you stop to wonder why, that which is Ok here, is so deplorable there. Baby killing, I mean!
In this recent report, which uses such words as 'Child Murder', 'Racial superiority', 'deformed babies' and 'coerced abortions', it is alleged that North Korean officials routinely kill babies both before and after birth. The story ought to make you sick, but in my case, it just plain made me laugh. All the emotive words used to make us recoil in horror, are nothing but facades to hide the real truth. We don't give a damn about killing unborn babies. That much is obvious. Killing post-natal children, of course, is another matter. We all obviously care about that. (Like it makes a difference?) But what is the difference between 'racial superiority' and 'physical superiority'. If you know that the child you carry is deformed, will you keep it. If you are raped, and fall pregnant, will you keep it? What is the difference between killing it before or after it is born? Have you ever watched National Geographic documentaries on the life of the unborn child? When I read this latest report, I wondered how many people who believe in abortion would be up in arms over the knowledge that mixed blood and deformed children were being forcibly aborted. As we all know in the West, abortion is sanctioned by the government and therefore is not 'murder'. So what is the difference between a mother choosing to abort a baby, and the government ordering the abortion? The difference is obviously about 'self choices'. If it is murder to force a mother to have an abortion, then it must be murder for the mother to choose an abortion. Am I right or wrong? Now I am not making light of the report, although some will undoubtedly prefer to forget the issue and go straight to name calling, but the fact of the matter is, that when people criticise such places as China and North Korea for their coercive attitudes to abortion, unless they are 'pro-lifers', they should shut their mouths, because they don't give a damn about the life of the child. Their concern is merely political. For whatever reason to consider an abortion, it must be, and it damn well oughta be, a difficult choice for prospective mothers to make. But that is quite a different proposition to teaching kids that it's Ok to get pregnant and then abort. Got a headache? Take a pill. Got a baby? Take a pill. Got tonsilitis? Get them cut out. Got a baby? Get it cut out! Easy come. Easy go! But how dare a government tell you to get rid of your unborn child! Come to think of it! The fems in Australia were just as upset when the Government tried to encourage women to have more kids. How dare anyone tell us what to do!
