No Confidence in American Sanity

"Normally I would have confidence that this lawsuit will be deemed without merit, but the way things are going these days, I just can't be sure anymore. Simply incredible."

That was the last line of "Complaint says crosses at Catholic school offensive, prevent Muslim prayers" at Beliefnet News.

In the latest ACT! for America newletter, Brigitte Gabriel provided the link recorded above and wrote:

If it is a human rights violation for the Catholic University of America to display crosses in every room, what does that say about the freedom of religion in our country? This is just another reason why we must stand strong and fight for our shared constitutional values at every opportunity.

Background for those too lazy to view the original article:

Law School Professor John Banzhaf from Washington University - a rival university across town - has made a 60-page complaint to the Washington, D.C. Office of Human Rights that Washingon D.C.'s Catholic University of America, acting "probably with malice" against Muslim students has "offensive" Catholic imagery all over the Catholic school, which he says hinder Muslims from praying.

Note: No Muslims have ever complained about this. I state this for a reason. Many times in my writing against Political Correctness I have pointed out that such things as Nativity Scenes are not offensive to anyone other than atheistic PC ideologues who hate God, religion and traditional Judeo-Christian history and culture. They are hardcore communists seeking to rip down the democratic state. The final two paragraphs of the article state:

"Can you imagine a law professor helping Catholic students to sue a Jewish or Muslim school to demand that the schools install crosses, remove their religious symbols, and allow the Catholics to construct a chapel on their property?" wrote Peters. "Can you imagine the argument being that Jewish and Muslims schools using their religious symbols and following their faith traditions would be described in the legal brief as "offensive"?!

"Normally I would have confidence that this lawsuit will be deemed without merit, but the way things are going these days, I just can't be sure anymore. Simply incredible." (Thomas Peters on the website CatholicVote.)

And Still people don't understand what is wrong with being PC.

Children's Deaths Don't Matter to Domestic Violence Activists
by R.P. BenDedek

Female domestic violence deaths equated with 0.00001% of males between the ages of 25 and 54, whilst the number of children at risk was ten thousand times higher and the number of deaths in one state alone was Nine times higher. When you start quoting statistics like these, you begin to understand the undue influence that the 'fundamentalist and sociopathic feminists' have on society at large. Nothing is placed in perspective. As Bettina Arndt pointed out in her 2007 article, the founder of Britain's first women's refuge claimed that the women's movement was hijacked by women promoting anti-male propaganda.

Racism in Australia

As an Australian I get tired of that tired old line constantly appearing in both domestic and foreign press claiming that Australia is a racist country. As the counter protestors have clearly demonstrated, the Australian people have risen up to declare that they are not racist and that they will not permit racism in Australia. In China, where I have been living and working for the past decade, there is an actual law to punish people whose words and actions are designed to destroy the social harmony of the nation. Now whilst it behooves all people in a secular democratic society to permit people to think and believe what they like, (for to do otherwise would be totalitarianism) we cannot allow minority groups to create social disharmony, division, sectarian violence and perhaps ultimately - civil war.
