It's Your Right to Have an Abortion! So go ahead and have one!
Ignore all those moralists; the religious, the 'born agains', the wowsers and those with a Victorian Attitude! If you don't want that baby, then get rid of it!
In today's world, we all have our rights! And women are no different. If you want to 'burn your bra', then go ahead and do it. Plenty of women did it in the past, and what harm did it do?
Sex before marriage? Not a problem. Sleep with whomever you like, and have sex as often as you like! It is your right! No moralising 'wet blanket' has the right to tell you what to do.
You want to have an extra-marital affair? Go ahead, it is nobody's business but your own!
Of course, there are just a few problems with this, including ...
- 1. Sagging Breasts - laughable but true (and back pain)
- 2. Angry husband - You wouldn't be angry if he had an affair.
- 3. STD's and AIDS - but then again you are immune right?
- 4. Abortion! - Now what harm does that do?
According to the latest research published in Australia today [Courier Mail Brisbane], findings from the Christchurch [A City of New Zealand] Health and Development Study of 1265 children tracked since birth in the 1970s in New Zealand, found that 41 percent of the more than 500 women in the study had become pregnant by age 25 with 90 pregnancies terminated.
At age 25, 42 percent of those who had an abortion had experienced major depression at some stage during the previous four years - nearly double the rate of those who had never been pregnant.
The study found that those who had had an abortion, suffered from a variety of problems, including alcoholism, and that scientific evidence towards the conclusion that abortion increases psychological distress rather than alleviating it has been justified.
So You want to have an Abortion? Go ahead! It's your right!
But it will drive you crazy later! It will probably ruin your life! Ah! But who cares about tomorrow, right?
