God, Australians are Dumb!

It seems this year that just about every other week we Australians read about another 'Aussie' being arrested or sentenced in a foreign country, for drug use or transportation. The latest item concerns a young Australian in Italy.

It's only been a few days since another Aussie was 'executed' in Singapore for his drug running, and now again we must read of some 'poor fellas' plight in Italy. When I read the most recent story entitled: Drugs charge Aussie "stranded," I decided to put pen to paper (so to speak) and sent off a comment to the Courier Mail Online Newspaper in Queensland Australia.

Here is what I wote:

Australians are the 'dumbest' people in the world.  The proof of this appears weekly in our newspapers.

'Dumb,' stupid, lazy Australians are permitting people to 'insert' drugs into their luggage.  It's probably because we can't read or write and so don't notice all the warnings about 'making sure' that no one touches our luggage. We are supposed to make sure that our luggage has not been touched.

Oh yeah! I forgot! It's the airport luggage handlers who do it.

Aussies are the dumbest people in the world, which is why airport luggage handlers choose 'Australian luggage' as transport vehicles for the world drug trafficking ring.

No! It is because Australians are the 'Victims of Discrimination'!. The world hates us, and there is a conspiracy to discredit Australia by making sure that we get a bad public reputation. It is probably a Muslim conspiracy!

Australians are hated by everyone, and that is why innocent 'Australians' are being targeted for drug transportation.

As everyone knows, most Australians arrested for drug transportation are in fact religious people who despise drugs. Some are Muslims, others are Mormons, others are 'Born Again Christians'.

Now what's that old saying? Ah yes! If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and sounds like a duck - then it is most probably a 'duck'.

Now I am sure that in a gaggle of geese or a flock of birds, or a ? of ducks, there is bound to be a bird that is different, but when you see a flock of birds that looks, sounds and walks like ducks, it is really hard to believe that they are not ducks.

But apparently, we Australians are quite capable of ignoring what a flock of birds actually looks, walks, and sounds like, to come to the conclusion that they are something other than what they are.

God, Australians are 'Dumb'!

Australians like to protest when convicted drug couriers are 'executed' by foreign governments, and undoubtedly will do the same if someone is imprisoned for 20 years instead of being executed.

But would Australians protest 'against' drug trafficking? Would Australians protest 'against' the lives lost to drug use?

Apparently not! God, Australians are dumb!

Ah but I forgot! It's not our fault! It's the Government's fault! No one has the right to tell me what I can and cannot do! No one has the right to force their moralistic principles on me!  I am an individual with 'human rights'! I do as I please, and if I am pleased to do drugs, that is no one else's business!

Do Australians believe this?  Too right they do!  God, Australians are Dumb!

If they really believed this, then they would mind their own business and let what happens happen! It's not my fault you use or transport drugs. It is your right! I'm not going to force my moralistic values down your throat. You have your right to do whatever you want, and I will respect that and keep out of it.

So I hear you are going to be executed! Good luck with that! I hear you are going to Prison! Good luck with that! What? You want 'me' to do something about it? Nah! It's not my business. I don't believe in imposing my moralistic values on other people.

But good luck anyway!

God, Australians are dumb!
