Disliking the President: The Race Card.

I am not an American and I don't like President Obama. Judging by a lot of what I have read in the articles of writers here at Magic City, I am not alone in my thinking. But of course most of the writers are -- excuse the racist remark -- 'white.'

It sometimes feels that today a white person cannot say anything about a 'non-white' without being accused of being a racist. Yesterday I came across an article that I thought was very interesting, because it not only talked negatively about President Obama, but well and truly dispensed with the 'racist' accusation. Here is a small part of that article:

Why I Do Not Like The Obamas
By Mychal Massie
January 5, 2013 in "Daily Rant"

The other evening on my twitter, a person asked me why I didn't like the Obama's? Specifically I was asked: "I have to ask, why do you hate the Obama's? It seems personal not policy related. You even dissed their Christmas family pic." The truth is I do not like the Obamas, what they represent, their ideology, and I certainly do not like his policies and legislation.

I've made no secret of my contempt for the Obamas. As I responded to the person who asked me the aforementioned question, I don't like them because they are committed to the fundamental change of my/our country into what can only be regarded as a Communist state.

Dislike for them has nothing to do with the color of their skin, it has everything to do with their behavior, attitudes, and policies. And I have open scorn for their playing the race card.

Mychal S. Massie is an ordained minister who spent 13 years in full-time Christian Ministry. He was founder and president of the non-profit "In His Name Ministries." He is the former National Chairman of the conservative black think tank, Project 21-The National Leadership Network of Black Conservatives and a former member of its parent think tank, the National Center for Public Policy Research.
