Denmark: Still the Land of the Vikings!

And to think that some people thought it was unjustifiable for me to criticise the United nations as being like a bunch of lunatics running the Asylum. Take at look at Beware of the Fogh, by Val MacQueen.
- As we know, depictions of Mohammed are forbidden by Islam. Muslim immigrants to Denmark made outraged representations to an unrepentant Rose, claiming that the newspaper had deliberately provoked and insulted Muslims.
- ambassadors to Denmark from 10 Islamic countries piled in, demanding a meeting with the Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
- As prime minister, I have no power whatsoever to limit the press -- nor do I want such a power.
- Later in October, death threats forced the Jyllands-Posten to hire guards to protect its employees.
- Louise Arbour, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights...has found it in her heart to apologize to Muslims on behalf of the Danish government.
- Prime Minister Rasmussen, meanwhile, who has said all along that the correct place to settle grievances is a court of law, holds steady.
- Its reassuring to know that the Danes are Vikings still.
What exactly is Political Correctness? If Muslims can force the United Nations to intervene with regard to 'religious depictions', surely the obscene 'Christian or Jewish' depicitions that appear from time to time can be taken seriously by the United Nations.
One rule for all. No one has the right to take the mickey out of religion or everyone has the right. There is freedom of expression, or there is not.
The United Nations is really such a dumb donkey of a place!
