Canadian Doctor in workplace dispute in China

The two principals of a Nurses Training venture in Baotou Inner Mongolia China, Mr. David Gao (Gao Jiawei) of Taiwan, (Franchiser of the Shanghai Based English Language School EET) and Sabrina Cui/Chui (Cui Lirong) of Canada, are currently in a dispute with a former Australian Staff Member in the EET Students English Training Center.

Miss Sabrina Cui / Chui (Cui Lirong) has alleged to many people that she is a doctor. It is not known at this time whether in fact she is or is not a doctor, or what her qualifications if any actually are.

The Australian Staff Member who 'walked out' of his job on Sunday 27th September and immediately vacated his apartment for fear of 'reprisals', has claimed (amongst other things), that low pay, excessive extra working hours without pay, canceled days off without pay, and other emotional and psychological mistreatment of staff by (Dr.) Cui Lirong, has resulted in high turnover of staff.

The 'official or legal situation' is currently not known, or what actions are being undertaken in regard to the complaints alleged against Dr. Cui. It is also unclear what the ramifications could be if the Doctor is determined to have breached local labour and other Chinese laws. Although a Baotou Native, Dr. Cui is a Canadian Citizen, and it is quite possible that she could at the very least, be asked to leave the country, should an official investigation consider it warranted.

More updates as information comes to hand.
