Families and friends looking to enjoy everything camping has to offer without all the hassle can now "glamour camp" at Darien Lake. On June 28, the park began offering instant "glamping" sites for visitors, which let guests camp without roughing it.

Glampsites at Darien Lake feature ready-made, waterproof tents on 10-foot by 14-foot platforms, complete with a comfortable queen bed or two twin beds, two chairs and a table, so campers won't have the expense of buying gear or the hassle of setting up camp. Each glamping tent is large enough to sleep two adults and two children, and campsites come with picnic tables, fire rings, electricity for basic needs and a deck for relaxation. Glampers simply need to bring their own linens, sleeping bags, pillows, and air mattresses for the kids.

"Glamping at Darien Lake provides another way for families and friends to have a simple, no-fuss getaway, and it is affordable for novice campers to try camping for the first time," said Dennis Kohl, general director of accommodations, Darien Lake.
