2009 Eclipse Chengdu Sichuan Province China

Wednesday 22nd July 2009 many people witnessed the longest solar eclipse of the 21st century. You can read a little about it at The Renewable Planet. While aware of the event I seem not to have noticed it up here in Baotou Inner Mongolia, but my friend Zhang Mingxing - Michael Zhang of Timken Chengdu sent me these photographs with permission to share them with the folks at Magic City Morning Star News.  I hope you enjoy them.  R.P.BenDedek rpbendedek@hotmail.com
