Winnifred Jandreau

MILLINOCKET -- Winnifred Jandreau, 65, lost her battle with cancer and died on March 25, 2007, in Millinocket. She was born November 10, 1941, in Patten, the daughter of Peter and Effie (Campbell) Baker.

She graduated from Patten Academy.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Carlton Jandreau of Millinocket; one son, Kevin and his wife, Tammy Jandreau, of Woodville and their daughter, Ashley; one daughter, Sonya and her husband, Corey Andrick, of Millinocket and their sons: Nathan and Tyler; three sisters: Marguerite and Kent Michaud of Florida, Phyllis and Roland Wilkins of Patten and Virginia Anderson of Patten; four brothers: Charles Baker of Patten, Albert and Donna Baker of Island Falls, Peter Baker of Alton and Arthur and Marcia Baker of Brownville; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends at Hannaford Shop 'N Save.

She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters: Mary Dickinson and Ethel Black; as well as two brothers: Clarence and Tellis.

Friends may call from 2:00 - 4:00 and from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at Bowers Funeral Home, Sherman Street, Island Falls. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Island Falls, with Fr. Eddy Morin, celebrant. Spring interment will be at Patten Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Katahdin Area Support Group, 10 Field Street, Millinocket, ME 04462.
