Kathrynn Jane (Harrigan) Draper

INDIO, CA / MILLINOCKET -- Kathryn Jane (Harrigan) Draper , 77, dearly loved Sister, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 3, 2007, at her daughter's home in Indio California, with family at her side. Jane was born in Millinocket, Maine, August of 1929 the daughter of Dr. Clarence W. and Hazel M. Harrigan.

She is survived by her sister, Patricia, daughters: Kathy and Mary, sons: John, Tim and Tom, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She graduated from Stearns High School and later attended Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. She went on to graduate from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City.  After entering on a lark and winning the Miss Penobscot Title, she went on to become Miss Maine in 1950. She shared 49 years of marriage with her late husband Linwood E. Draper originally from Lewiston, Maine. Jane always had kind words and a smile for everyone she met.  Jane's generous, caring and sweet nature will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Services will be held at St. Joseph Church, Placentia, California on July 12, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Condolences may be expressed to the family by calling (909)628-5356, or by email: rldraper@gmail.com.
