Eva Martha Rioux-Page

EAST MILLINOCKET -- Eva Martha Rioux-Page, 94, died May 12, 2007, at Colonial Health Care, Lincoln. She was born November 13, 1912, in Annapolis, Nova Scotia.

She went to be with her Lord and welcomed into heaven by her husband, Joseph Denis Sr.; children, Eva, Donald, Gerald, who's wife is Judy, Wayne, who's wife is Joanna, and Raymond, Sr., who's wife is Dorothy; one son-in-law, Felix Maillet, who's wife is Jacqueline; her father and mother, Andre and Philomine Odelie Beaulieu-Rioux-Cote; three brothers: Fleurien and Edward Rioux and Felix Cote; and one sister, Annie Blanche Rioux-Goddard. Eva is survived by seven children: Jacqueline, who's husband is Felix of Brewer, Hubert and wife, Betty, Joseph Jr. and wife, Eunice, Jack Edward and wife, Cecile, Phillippe and wife, Carol, of East Millinocket, Regis and wife, Inez, of Chester, and James and wife, Katherine, of Bangor, and their families. Eva was blessed with more than 130 grandchildren, through the great-great-great-generations, too numerous to list.

Eva was a faithful communicant of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Eva has always said she could never have had the strength to raise her 12 children without her deep faith.

Her viewing will be from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Thursday at Bouchard-Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack Street, Millinocket, with a rosary service being said 7:30 p.m. by the St. Ann's Circle, Daughter's of Isabella. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 18, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, East Millinocket, with the Rev. Joel Cyr, pastor, presider.

Interment will be at East Millinocket Cemetery. Gifts in memory of Eva may be sent to the Priest's Retirement Fund, care of St. Peter's Catholic Church, 58 Cedar Street, East Millinocket, ME 04430.
