During this season when Americans gather to give thanks, INSP, the recognized leader in family entertainment, is inviting viewers to join them in showing their gratitude and appreciation to those who have sacrificed so much in their service to this country. Through the network's continued partnership with DAV (Disabled American Veterans), INSP has produced two new short films in its critically-acclaimed and award-winning MOMENTS series. The documentaries, "Unbroken Soldiers: Jason Courneen," and "Unbroken Soldiers: Bobby Barrera," pay tribute to wounded veterans and their families, and will premiere on both INSP and Moments.org on Thanksgiving Day, November 27th.

"Unbroken Soldiers: Jason Courneen," is an inspiring story told from the perspective of devoted husband Jason Coumeen as he helps his wife Alexis, a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, navigate through life with traumatic brain injury (TBI). While Jason recognizes his role as Alexis's "caregiver," he prefers to see it as his wife taking care of herself, and he fills in the blanks as needed. He marvels at her resolve and strength, and finds emotional support from a caring community of people who make up an adaptive sports clinic for disabled veterans.

In "Unbroken Solders: Bobby Barrera," viewers are introduced to a Vietnam War Marine Corps veteran and amputee Bobby Barrera as he recounts how he came from the brink of depression and despair to learn to live life with his new reality, and how he is inspiring others to do the same.

These heartwarming and moving stories join the more than ninety videos that can be found on Moments.org, INSP's web network that produces original short films designed to inspire, encourage and entertain viewers with pieces that celebrate love, life, faith, family and patriotism. Featured, are everyday Americans as well as some of the biggest names in entertainment, including EMMY® Award winners Edward James Olmos and Mark Burnett, GRAMMY award winner Ricky Skaggs, Roma Downey, Kirk Cameron, and the late Ralph Waite of the classic television series "The Waltons."

"INSP is one of the most substantive, values-based outlets for entertainment in our country and they've shown a tremendous commitment to veterans and their families," said DAV National Commander Ron Hope. "By sharing inspirational stories of our nation's heroes, recognizing caregivers, connecting veterans with DAV's free services and enhancing public support and awareness about veterans and the people who support them, this thanks on Thanksgiving is going to help many deserving veterans and their loved ones discover a new sense of hope."

The MOMENTS videos have been praised and used by the U.S. Department of Defense, the United States Army, USAA, and the American Legion. The series has won a Telly Award, a Summit Creative Award, a New York Festivals Film & Television Award, a CBC Media Award, has been shortlisted for the Primetime Emmy's, was a finalist for a Cynopsis Digital Model D award, featured on ABC's "The View," and received special recognition from the Department of Defense for "service to our country."
