WASHINGTON, DC -- Congressman Mike Michaud joined the Boston Red Sox at the White House to celebrate the Sox's 2013 World Series title. Michaud, along with President Obama and the New England Congressional Delegation, participated in a South Lawn ceremony honoring the World Series champs.
"Maine is firmly a part of Red Sox Nation, so I was proud to join our World Series champs at the White House," said Michaud. "All of New England rallied behind the Red Sox in the wake of last year's Boston Marathon tragedy, and today's event was a reminder of why this team is such a source of pride and tradition for all of us."
