Breaking the Amazon Monopoly

An Alternative to Amazon's Audiobooks - The My Audiobook Library project.

My Audiobook Library is seeking to challenge Amazon's domination of the audiobook market and create a library of over 55,000 audiobooks that can be purchased at the average rate of $11 per book (70 percent cheaper than the average audiobook store).

Right now, Amazon controls almost 90 percent of the audiobook market making it nearly impossible for smaller companies to compete. This audiobook monopoly puts new companies in a catch-22. Top publishing companies won't sign contracts with audiobook distributors unless they have a large audience, and audiobook distributors can't accumulate a large audience without books from the Top 5 publishers.

David Rocheleau wants to end this cycle by breaking into the audiobook market with My Audiobook Library, which would offer over 55,000 titles from top publishers at a significantly cheaper price than Amazon or other competitors.

My Audiobook Library is currently running a campaign on Kickstarter to fund this monopoly-breaking project. To learn more about My Audiobook Library, click here . Or feel free to contact me at:
