How ironic that, shortly after receiving notification from the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission of Ottawa of their decision to grant McMaster University a renewal of their licence to operate a nuclear reactor on its campus for another seven years, I read in Canada's National Post that some of the British Muslims detained after the attempted car bombings in England and Scotland are doctors, one of them regarded by his colleagues as a "brilliant" neurosurgeon.
It was with great effort that I endeavoured to convince the CNSC that notwithstanding their education and cultural assimilation to things Canadian, those adherents of Islam involved with research at McMaster's nuclear reactor are, in my opinion - precisely because of their preferred religion and its tendentious violence - an immediate security threat to the citizens of Canada and United States. Today's news, that the majority of the culprits involved with the attempted terror attacks in London and Glasgow are doctors, only reinforces my premise about the Muslim emigrant, that no amount of education and acculturation into our Western societies can serve to modify the measure of his personal belief in those tenets of Islam, however truculent, that invariably pit what has evolved as a violent and intolerant Arab culture against an accommodating Western culture.
The absurdity of Samuel P. Huntington's theory that an Islamic "civilization" can modernize without accruing our Western values and jurisprudence can be grasped intellectually by simply viewing Muslim terrorists talking via satellite to Al Jazeer's television journalists. Those live entertainment venues common to so many Islamic androcracies, such as decapitation, disembowelment, amputation, and state funded anti-Jewish hatred, are totally extraneous to Western culture. Such atrocities and religiously inspired malevolence common to Islamic dictatorships we condemn as criminal and barbaric and in no way accept as an integral part of Western modernity. The "Kemalist attitudes" Huntington misconstrues as "the secret of this success in Western values and institutions" is nothing but his pathetic and ism-strewn attempts at portraying Turkey's futureless efforts at secularizing an Islamic populace as comparable and equal to the accommodative, Judeo-Christian evolution of Western democracies.
Carl Van Doren wrote that, "The race of men, while sheep in credulity, are wolves for conformity." This is an apt description of Islam's followers, articulating both their mental proclivity to the most baneful suspicions and their propensity for violence as a means of conforming entire peoples to their malefic ideology. Many Muslim clerics purport that Israel and the Jews are the source of the world's woes, and the majority of Muslims, or so it seems, believe them. It is my opinion that such anti-Jewish hatred and a characteristically narcissistic credulity are the direct after-effects of Islam upon the Muslim believer. Those doctors-turned-terrorists recently arrested in Glasgow and London illustrates perfectly my point. These were cultured and well educated Muslims, and yet their mental adhesion to the ancient shibboleths of Islam emasculated what should have been a most basic sense of right and wrong.
But such an attempt at conforming entire nations and peoples to the tenets of Islam is not remarkable in the Muslim world. This is a normative example of the wolves of Islam. This is veridical Islam. Not surprising, terrorism is currently the method used by the Taliban to "win the hearts and minds" of the people of Afghanistan, the method used by Chechen Muslims to win the hearts and minds of Russian school children in Beslan, the method used by the Muslims of Hamas and Fatah to win the hearts and minds of the Jews of Israel. These Muslim terrorists, "while sheep in credulity are wolves for conformity."
