The Great American Buy In Program

I just received the following announcement that John Edwards has joined John Kerry as his Presidential running mate. Together, they state that they are going to "combat bioterrorism." On paper, this pronouncement sounds very good for all of America. Who here does not want to protect our country from terrorist activities such as another 9-11 and bio-terrorism threats? Combating all that has the potential to destroy our country! What better action plan could we create and put into affect here?

On second glance, the newly formed Kerry-Edwards Presidential Team has left out a small but very important detail.

They cannot fight terrorism and bio-terrorism threats without deporting all illegal aliens and securing our borders first. [Click for More]  And that is something neither Kerry nor Edwards have any intention of doing. In fact, John Kerry is planning to do exactly the opposite. He has laid out his specific amnesty proposal under the title of “Earned Legalization." [Click for More] John Kerry “supports a proposal that will allow undocumented immigrants to legalize their status if they have been in the United States for a certain amount of time (and) have been working.”

Remember well our past history with our unsecured United States borders and illegal aliens who were productive, albeit illegal, members of our society. Three examples of qualifying candidates in the proposed Kerry Earned Legislation amnesty would have been Hani Hanjour, Mohammed Atta and Khalid Abu-al-Dahad. [Click for More] All three fit the criteria of contributing working members of our society. Until that fateful day on September 11, 2001.

Remember also, it was a illegal alien day laborer in Virginia, now housed in our federal prison, that aided the original 9-11 terrorists in obtaining THEIR valid, although fraudulently obtained, Virginian and subsequent Florida drivers licenses. [Click for More]

Have you noticed that the John Kerry Presidential team is busy recruiting and registering voters at our local grocery stores? Legality and citizenship don’t appear to be high on the Kerry-Campaign-Criteria. Casting Kerry presidential votes, regardless of voter legitimacy seems to be the Number One slot on the Kerry campaign agenda. A valid state identification card and proof of residential address are the only items needed to vote and also the only items verified at the voting polls. So yes folks, the terrorists of yesteryear could have voted here during any of our 2000 elections should they have desired to do so.

Now lets examine the next press release item of the Kerry-Edwards Team campaign, the statement of; "We'll be fighting to give the middle class a voice by providing good paying jobs and affordable health care."

Per the American Hospital Association 2000 records, the national uncompensated care cost  was $21.6 billion. The vast majority of this uncompensated care was given to illegal aliens and the resulting dollar deficit was placed squarely on the shoulders of the American taxpayer.

Now Senator Edward [Click for More] advocates “subsidies to help two-thirds of uninsured adults and unemployed workers continue (health) coverage from their last jobs with 70 percent federal subsidies.” Folks, again let me reiterate. The words “Federal subsidies” do not translate into the words “Free to You“. It translates into an additional United States federal tax burden, a burden that will not be subsidized by the Kerry-Edwards nickel. It is a tax subsidy to be paid by the taxpayer’s nickel. Neither Senator Edwards nor Presidential-candidate Kerry are stating that only legal resident uninsured adults and legal resident unemployed workers are going to be beneficiaries of our welfare tax dollars. All unemployed and uninsured adults, with or without legal status in our United States will be allotted our tax monies welfare relief under the Kerry-Edwards health insurance proposal.

Until America deports the people living illegally in our country, these very people who are sucking our health and welfare system dry, there will be neither “affordable health care” nor "good middle class jobs" for legal American residents. Regardless of any pleasant-sounding press statements issued by the Kerry-Edwards team.

So be it as it may, legal American residents, I say to you “Caveat Emptor.“

Or "let the buyer beware." You are being sold a bill of goods and it is definitely going to be at your own expense.

Subject: Kerry-Edwards: A New Team for a New America

Dear Marty,

In just a few minutes, I will announce that Senator John Edwards will join me as my running-mate on the Democratic ticket as a candidate for vice president of the United States. Teresa and I could not be more excited that John and Elizabeth Edwards will be our partners in our journey to make America stronger at home and respected in the world.

You are the heart and soul of our campaign. You've shattered records and expectations every step of the way. Every time someone said you couldn't do it, you proved them wrong. Because of your incredible grassroots energy and commitment, I wanted to make the first official announcement of my decision to you -- more than one million online supporters at

I want you to know why I'm excited about running for president with John Edwards by my side. John understands and defends the values of America. He has shown courage and conviction as a champion for middle class Americans and those struggling to reach the middle class. In the Senate, he worked to reform our intelligence, to combat bioterrorism, and keep our military strong. John reaches across party lines and speaks to the heart of America -- hope and optimism. Throughout his own campaign for President, John spoke about the great divide in this country -- the "Two Americas" -- that exists between those who are doing well today and those who are struggling to make it from day to day. And I am so proud that we're going to build one America together.

In the next 120 days and in the administration that follows, John Edwards and I will be fighting for the America we love. We'll be fighting to give the middle class a voice by providing good paying jobs and affordable health care. We'll be fighting to make America energy independent. We'll be fighting to build a strong military and lead strong alliances, so young Americans are never put in harm's way because we insisted on going it alone.

I can't tell you how proud I am to have John Edwards on my team, or how eager I am for the day this fall when he stands up for our vision and goes toe-to-toe with Dick Cheney.

This is the most important election of our lifetime, and a defining moment in our history. With you by our side every day of this campaign, John and I will lead the most spirited presidential campaign America has ever seen, and fight to lead our nation in a new and better direction.

Thank you,

John Kerry
