Spreading Good Will

'Tis the season to be jolly, falala, la la la. And so the story goes. I love this holiday. I wish for Peace on Earth and Goodwill towards Man for everyone living in or out of the United States. I love tradition, I love the idea of everyone is created equal with equal opportunities in this wonderful land of opportunity, our very own country of America.

I do not love what our politically correct and non-traditional government is forcing upon us.

To our United States government representatives, I have this to say. The vast majority of you represent the Grinch, not Santa, to your country's people. You impose your will and override ours. The public speaks louder and so you turn down the volume. Can't respond if you can't hear it can you?

I called several Congressmen in regards to the Intel Bill, the one our President of the United States of America was intent on passing. I found Congressman Duncan Hunter (R-CA) to be just as genuine and just as nice as he could be when I spoke to him. He got his Christmas present, which was Military communication. I attempted to speak to other Congressmen and tell them what 80% of the American public was requesting for Christmas but only spoke to various uninterested office employees. As a result, James Sensenbrenner (R-WI) did not receive his Christmas present along with Congressman Tom Tancredo (R-CO), the 9-11 Commission and we American residents. We were all handed a lump of coal. Our coal came in the form of a shelved Drivers License issue and a shelved immigration plan of action.

Congressman Hunter made a verbal promise to me on the phone and later repeated his promise on the Lou Dobbs Show with regards to our lump of coal. He promised to put the Drivers License issue on the front burner as soon as the new Congress opens for it's first session in January. To create a bill that has no chance of failing.

Let us all remind him of his promise to us (www.numbersUSA.com) and force our government representatives (who have forgotten who they represent) to hand over our Christmas presents. These holidays gifts must be in the form of controlling our borders, stopping the awards given to people who continue to break our laws in greater numbers and to finally, actually, completely, totally, secure our country from another 9-11. The Intel Bill has left a gaping hole in our Homeland Security. It is a start but not the means to the end. The actual means to the end begins at home.

As our Congress settles in for this joyous season, do not let them forget about our presents by the absence of our presence. Ring in the New Year with the following message to the President of the United States, the Senate and our new Congress. Tell them we know there is a family budget crisis and we know we cannot ask for too much. So we didn't. We asked for security in America and instead we were left with Candy Canes and New Year promises. We need to use our lump of coal to ignite the fires that burn within most of us and yet are slowly being suffocated by a small elected representative group among us.

My New Year's wish will be that our American government respect and respond to us, the trusting American public. Because last time I looked, we were still a Democratic Republic and not a Totalized country doling out merry melodies and sugar-coated candies everywhere except our own home.

Tra la la la....lah la la la. And a Happy New Year.
