Auburn, Maine - 2nd District Congressional Candidate Jason Levesque today launched a series of radio ads in his campaign to defeat Mike Michaud in November. The radio spots will run throughout Maine's 2nd Congressional District. The first in the series of advertisements focuses on the many pieces of legislation Mike Michaud and this Congress passed, against the wishes of the People.
"If Mainers keep saying "no," why does Congress keep saying "yes?," The ad questions. "Mainer's said no to the failed trillion dollar stimulus, but Congress said yes. We said no bailouts, but Congress said yes. And we said no to the higher insurance rates and medical costs in the trillion dollar health care reform. But Congress said yes."
The ad continues: "I'm Jason Levesque. And I'm running for Congress to represent Maine people - not the interests of Nancy Pelosi and big government. I'm for smaller government. I'm for less spending. I'm for investing in business and good jobs. And...I'm ready to listen. I'm Jason Levesque. And I'm running for Congress for Maine and for Maine's future."

Jason has been travelling around the district meeting voters, most recently this weekend he and his family attended the Potato Blossom Dinner and Parade in Fort Fairfield. "This is a big district and I am working hard to get throughout it in my RV Bertha so I may meet people and listen to their concerns, issues and needs. This step forward with radio advertising is just one more way for me to get my message of the need for common sense and fiscal responsibility in Congress."
