Auburn, Me--2nd District Congressional Candidate Jason Levesque has announced that 63 fellow veterans have joined a coalition to support his campaign. Levesque's Veterans Coalition will help him spread his message of support for veteran's issues and policies in Congress that affect them.
"We hear a lot of talk about legislative efforts for our veterans. What we don't hear is the discussion about how the non-military related legislation affects veterans as it affects everyone else. Many of our returning veterans from our current deployments are coming home to Maine and are unable to find jobs. We need to work to fix this economy for everyone--including our country's bravest". - Jason Levesque.
With Maine's 2nd District unemployment rate hovering at around 9%, Mr. Levesque asks: "How are our returning veterans supposed to re-acclimate if they don't have a job to go to? It's time to get the economy going again and businesses growing so they can hire."
The Levesque for Congress Campaign has a testimonial page on their website.
