AUGUSTA -- The Maine State Grange annual Agriculture Tour will be featuring farms around the Chesterville/Farmington area of the state.

The tour features; The York Hill Goat Dairy, Pikes Strawberries, Brenda and Bussie York’s Alternative Fuels and Dairy, Whitewater Farm Store, and the Mooar Hill Farm.

This years tour will be on Thursday September 6, 2007. The tour will start at Chesterville Grange which is located at 837 Knowlton Corner Road at 8:30 a.m., and then car pool to the tour sites. This will be an affordable, one-day tour. The cost of the trip is going to be only $15, which includes lunch and supper at the Chesterville Grange. Please make checks payable to the Maine State Grange and send along with your name, address, and phone number. Non Grange members are welcome and are encouraged to attend.
