Spring

"Spring has sprung!" the Robins said
As they skimmed across the ground
"Spring has sprung!" the Titmice cried
As they flew upside down

"Spring has sprung!" the Sparrows sang
As they settled on a wire
"Spring has sprung!" the Blue Jays shrieked
"It's getting warmer by the hour!"

"Spring ain't sprung," the Black Crow cawed
As he flew thru snow and rain
"Spring ain't sprung," he called once more
"Cause, it sure ain't spring in Maine!"
