Sometimes when I think of you
In the dark and lonely night
I wish that you were here with me
To kiss and hold me tight
Sometimes I wonder what you're doing
In that far off, foreign land
And I wonder if you'll come again
And take me by the hand
Sometimes I feel so all alone
And wonder how it all went wrong
Then I resolve to keep on going
Pretending that I'm well and strong
Sometimes I think I'll take a plane
That will fly me straight to you
But then I change my mind again
Because I don't know what to do
Sometimes I wish we'd never met
But you know that it's true
That If I thought I had a chance
I'd wait forever just to be with you
