The area currently known as Peddler's Hill is an opportunity that has been overlooked for many years. In order to utilize the area to create improved opportunities for local vendors and consumers, the Millinocket Community Action Committee has proposed a plan to upgrade and revitalize this area.

Independence Day in Millinocket has always been a happy, social event and this year was no different. Celebrating the 4th of July here is something many of us look forward to after the long cold winter and muddy spring since it is a day that brings together local residents and those who return to visit family and friends.
