The Easter Bunny has misplaced his eggs and is asking for your help to locate them.

If you want to help in his search, the clues are provided on entry sheets which will be handed out at Granite Street School for students K-5 or at the Municipal Building town bulletin board for pre-school children wishing to enter.

Follow the clues and locate each egg around town. When you see the egg, use the answer sheet to write in the number on the egg and the place it can be found. When you have found them all, write your name, address, and phone number on the entry and place it in the entry box at the school or Municipal Building.

Three lucky sleuths will win a basket of goodies when names are drawn from the box. Good luck to all of you!

Contest will start on Monday, March 19,2007 with the drawing held on Monday, March 26,2007.

MCAC Surveys

Millinocket Community Action Committee has two surveys that have been put out to the public. One is the survey for Millinocket citizens who wish to have an opportunity to offer their opinions about the direction the town should take with revitalization and community efforts. These can be found at the Municipal Building, Appalacian Trail Cafe, or the Millinocket Memorial Library.

The second, is a survey put out to the residents of the Katahdin Area. To try to reach all Katahdin Area residents, these surveys are being handed out at the Millinocket grocery stores. MCAC is  trying to bring a veterinarian to the area, this survey is one that will help to give interested veterinarians an idea of what the area residents' expectations are and what sort of support they can expect from the residents if they locate here. We would like to thank Hannaford and IGA for allowing us to distribute these surveys from their businesses.

These two surveys are an opportunity for people to help with the efforts to revitalize Millinocket and to bring this area a much needed veterinarian. We appreciate each and every response to these and thank those who have already responded for their participation.
