The next meeting of Millinocket Community Action Committee will be on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at the Municipal Building in Council Chambers from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

On the agenda will be fundraising. We are beginning to plan a raffle and are looking for donations of items to donate for the raffle. We already have several items that have been donated. Anyone wishing to donate an item may contact us at the meeting, email at maine_kat@hotmail.com , or mail us at P.O. Box 107, Millinocket.

MCAC also wishes to inform area students that this committee is not only for adults, youthful input would be appreciated and welcome. We would like to try to plan some events for the area children and teens for this summer and would like to hear suggestions from them.

We will be notifying the winners of our Easter Egg Hunt drawing this weekend. Prizes will be awarded on Monday, April 2, 2007 at the Millinocket Memorial Library. We would like to thank all the children who participated in this event and wish all of them good luck in the drawing. Thanks also to the schools and parents who helped with the children's participation.

Results from the two recent surveys MCAC has put out will be released to the public in the near future. We would like to thank all of you who took the time to respond. Your comments have been very helpful and we appreciate every one of them as well as the offers of assistance with our efforts. Your words of encouragement are great! Thank you. To anyone who has not had the time to send yours in, there is still time if you so desire. We are interested in hearing from everyone.

We hope to see any and all interested citizens at the next meeting.
