In response to misinformation that is currently being spread, I feel that it is best to publish the full text of the letter that I sent to the Katahdin Press.

Dear Mr. Pushard,

At our first meeting for our newly formed Millinocket Community Action Committee, we had in attendance Mr. Frank Manzo, Jr. from the Katahdin Press. The article your paper published which was written by Mr. Manzo about the meeting and the committee was very well written and greatly appreciated.

In attendance at our last meeting, was reporter Lisa Hayes, who expressed interest in writing about our committee and its activities. Even though we realize and understand that it is not for us to decide, we would like to request news coverage of our committee be done by Mr. Manzo, as he is a member and we feel comfortable with his positive style of writing. We also feel we have an easy rapport in speaking with him.

Your consideration of this request would be very much appreciated.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Kathy Gagnon
