Clarification of a Bangor Daily Article

Just to clarify an article in the Bangor Daily News today by reporter, Nick Sambides, the efforts to bring a veterinarian to the Katahdin area have been a project of Millinocket Community Action Committee.

MAGIC has had nothing to do with these efforts and Lisa McLaughlin was a part of this as a citizen only. Mr. Sambides is fully aware of this fact, but still chooses to include mention of MAGIC in every article about MCAC.

Because of that, we felt it was necessary to again clarify that and repeat that MCAC is a citzen effort and has no connection with any other area group or organization. Results of our survey will be released soon. Thank you.
