Local East Millinocket Mill Workers Eligible for Trade Adjustment Assistance
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Congressman Mike Michaud announced today that the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) has determined that approximately 262 workers from the Great Northern Paper Company in East Millinocket will be eligible for Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) benefits. Rep. Michaud worked at the GNP mill for three decades immediately prior to his election to Congress.

Local Davis Family Foundation Awards Millinocket Historical Society $25,000
As another summer comes to a close, the volunteers of the Millinocket
Historical Society noticed that there was a bit more to be thankful for
just after the last yard sale of the season. On Thursday September 20th

Family Foundation for $25,000.
