A local story with National Importance that did not make Media's top ten stories of 2009 list, was the story of Bruce LaVallee Davidson; same sex marriage advocate charged with killing a "gay" South Portland resident, Fred Wilson. Main stream media appear not to be covering the event. But the thanks to 'The Record' people are being made aware of the details surrounding both the murder and those involved.

Media Blackout on Biggest Story of the Year
By Staff of the Christian Civic League of Maine
Dec 29, 2009

  • The Record began following the story after learning that LaVallee Davidson made a heart-wrenching appeal for same sex marriage at the public hearing at the Civic Center in Augusta on April 22nd.

When the trial begins in early January, the courtroom will hear testimony revealing a crime like no other Maine has ever seen.

The importance of this story cannot be overstated. The LaVallee Davidson case shows that the press has colluded with gay rights activists to deceive the public about same sex marriage, claiming that same sex marriages are based on caring, monogamous relationships.

Though ignored by the mainstream media, the killing of Fred Wilson may indeed be the biggest story of 2009.

Thanks to the staff of the Christian Civic League of Maine for bringing this to our attention and for a previous submission published here at Magic City Morning Star News entitled: New Twist to LaVallee Davidson Case
