Mr. Anderson, I just happen to read a very offensive column by Kenneth Tellis published in your newspaper online version.
After reading Mr. Tellis' piece of filth, I strongly disagree with your newspaper section "About Us" that boasts itself in this fashion:
"Our writing staff spans the political spectrum, from rabid liberals to strict constitutionalists. But not everything is politics. In the Magic City Morning Star, you will find the best in entertainment, culture, and just plain fun."
You may want to edit this generic section to add, "to rabid Quebec haters' in your staff span descriptive. I believe it will help better describe Mr. Tellis contributions. And while you're at it, also edit the above paragraph to add the 'worst' in politics, entertainment and culture.
I could not grasp how an editor of a serious newspaper would and could tolerate and release such hateful materials relative to your French-Canadian neighbors. It's beside me.
Unbelievable.

Editor's Note: Thank you for writing, Ms. Cardin-Kamleiter. Mr. Tellis's column reflects his opinion, which he has every right to, as you do your own. We publish your opinion as readily as we do his, trusting that our readers are capable of sorting things out for themselves. I am sorry that you disagree with this policy, yet it remains. -- Ken Anderson
