A Reader's Comment about Bin Laden

In reply to a recent comment about an error in a Jim Kouri article, I received the following '2 cents worth' on the issue of why the President couldn't see the raid action.

Just thought I'd add my 2 cents worth. I am sure that the government didn't want Osama taken alive. I'm sure the order was given that he must be killed. There would be years of unbelievable drama involved with taking him alive, but the government wouldn't want to make it public that the kill order was given ... hence .... they were ( supposedly ) not able to see what was going on, and therefore unable to have war crime charges brought against the troops that killed him, or the people that gave the orders to do so.

I don't believe the PR BS, but the bottom line is that I am happy the order was given. I think they should have made a public announcement that the soldiers were sent in, armed with bullets that had been dipped in pigs blood, and that the {deleted} will be 'unclean' and unable to go to his promised heaven, and receive his 72 virgin brides.

Any muslim terrorist that is convicted and sentenced to death, should get the same treatment, and perhaps they wouldn't all be so keen to die for their cause.

I wasn't going to publish the 'pigs blood comment', but given the number of emails with similar thoughts doing the rounds, I don't think these comments could be considered shocking. They may however be considered offensive. In a democracy one has the right to be offended by another's words, but for the 'Marxist demi-gods' in society, the words above would probably be considered more offensive than anything Bin Laden ever actually did.

When I was growing up in Australia we had a saying: 'Sticks and Stones may break my bones but names can never hurt me.' Unfortunately today's Cultural Marxists place more value on 'words' than actions, and in a society that does not believe in God, (preferring instead - evolution), a human life has no actual meaning -- which is why names are offensive and killing people is not.
