(Letter to the Minister responsible for the Reform of Democratic Institutions and Access to Information)
Dear Mr. Moreau,
The days of BLACKMAIL by Quebec of Canada are now at an end. Thus any changes to the Canadian Senate can now be made without any input from Quebec. So you had better return to your Maman's tepee for a much needed rest, and a chance to sit by the communal fire, smoke those cigarettes that are made on the reservation, and drink some of that locally made firewater.
Quebec is now the last remnant of an anachronism, it has come down to this state by choice and as times passes Quebec will become a backwater much like the State of LOUISIANA, USA. Canadians are now fed up with the outrageous claims being made by the Province of Lazyness to the point of irrelevancy. If Quebec does not like the way things are being done in Ottawa, then it can go suck a lemon. Canadians have had about enough from Quebec on language and every other issue, because it seems that Quebec can never be satisfied. The Quebecois/Quebecoise had better learn that there is no such thing as a free lunch that other Canadians will have to pay for whether they like it or not. You in Quebec had better used to cutting back on your pie in the sky programmes, and make do with your own money, and not money from other provinces that have themselves cut back.
So Mr. Moreau, you had better learn to live with what you have, instead of getting hand-outs from Ottawa. Because if anything the last federal election on May 2, 2011, proved that the rest of Canada is sick and tired of your threats of separation, and it is now passe, and rightly so. The fun and games are over and the sooner you in Quebec realize it, the better.
Sincerely,
Kenneth T. Tellis
